{"id":1180,"date":"2014-02-08T19:50:25","date_gmt":"2014-02-08T19:50:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/waynesiegel.dk\/?p=1180"},"modified":"2019-02-21T10:01:53","modified_gmt":"2019-02-21T10:01:53","slug":"two-sound-installations-commissioned-by-the-city-of-vallensbaek","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/waynesiegel.dk\/?p=1180","title":{"rendered":"Two sound installations commissioned by the city of Vallensb\u00e6k"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The city of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vallensbaek.dk\/den-digitale-kunsthal\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"broken_link\" rel=\"nofollow\">Vallensb\u00e6k<\/a>, a suburb of Copenhagen, has commissioned two sound installations by Wayne Siegel for the opening of a digital arts gallery &#8211; DIAS &#8211; in the Vallensb\u00e6k S-train station.<\/p>\n<p>A new sound installation will be created for a small \u201ccloset\u201d in the station. If visitors enter the closet, they will experience a sonic surprise.<\/p>\n<p>Drowning\/Burning, an interactive sound installation originally presented at the Skive museum of art in 2010, will be adapted to the stairway landing near the platform.
